Blyth Slip re-opens

Blyth Jetski Club is very happy to announce the opening of the slip after the Government, RYA and local Council have given the green light for all water sports to begin again. The club have looked at ways they can run the slip with the safety of the riders and public as a priority.

Safety is paramount therefore NO rider will be out alone, they will be with another member whilst keeping their “social distance”.

All members must have a short tow rope at hand for breakdown purposes.

All members have been asked to check over their ski for reliability and make sure it is well maintained.

A buoyancy aid or life jacket must be worn along with suitable wetsuit or drysuit to match the conditions.

We advise a suitable full face helmet but this is optional and down to the rider.

Unfortunately we are unable to take on any new members at this time. This will not be forever, just until we get back into the swing of things and the restrictions loosen up.

We hope to see our members out there soon and thank them for their cooperation and patience through this very trying time.

Any questions you may have please do not hesitate to ask, we are here to help you.

Regards

Blyth Jetski Club Committee
